Educational convention held

Al-Ameen Dr Mumtaz Ahmed Khan Educational Welfare Trust, Manipur (unit of Al-Ameen Educational Society, Bangalore) conducted its first educational convention cum felicitation programme at DM College multipurpose hall today.
Chief guest of the event Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam, during his speech stressed on the importance of education.
He said education is one of the most important element in building a peaceful and well-structured society.
Expressing pleasure that more female especially Muslim, have come forward and are taking part in varied activities, the Deputy CM maintained that education should be made available to all irrespective of gender or community divide to achieve an egalitarian form of society.
