NERPPF for stable Govt

The North East Regional Political Parties Front (NERPPF) has decided to take pro-active roles towards establishment of a stable Government at the Centre after the election results are declared.
The front held a meeting today at the office of Assam Gana Parishad, Guwahati where MPP president N Sovakiran was also present.
Talking to The Sangai Express, Sovakiran said that the meeting, after deliberating minutely on the unfolding political scenario, resolved to act in favour of establishing a stable Government at the centre.
NERPPF convenor and Nagaland CM Neiphiu Rio opened a new office of the front inside the complex of AGP at Guwahati.
The meeting also agreed to foster closer cooperation among the member parties of the front in addition to enhancing political activities of the front.
Former Assam Chief Minister Prafullo Kumar Mahanta, NPP president PA Sangma, leaders of NPF, United Democratic Party, Indigenous Peoples Front of Tripura, Peoples Party of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram National Front were also present at the meeting.
