Packaged drinking water plant inaugurated at Senapati

Senapati District's first packaged drinking water plant was inaugurated today at TNK, Senapati village with Joseph Pauline, ADM, Senapati District, as the Chief guest; Harry Tungnung, Chief Manager, SBI, Senapati and Neichute Doulo, CEO, Entrepreneur Associates, Nagaland, as the Guests of honour.
Speaking at the occasion, Joseph Pauline, lauded the proprietors of M/S Pou Packaged drinking water plant, Liba and CP Salinii, for initiating a maiden venture which he said was the need of the hour and hope that the management will serve the provide its best service to the people.
Harry Tungnung, who sponsored the packaged drinking water unit, stated that the unit is the largest loaner of the Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) in the District through the State Bank of India.
He also said that the processing unit has attained the elite certification of Bureau of Indian Standard (BIS) to sustain and expand the processes.
Neichute Doulo, said that the tribal people need to be exposed to the world of commerce and business in order to ensure a promising future in the developing society.
Appreciating the proprietors, he added that the venture is also means of employment and livelihood for
many people.
Other dignitaries present during the programme were Students leaders of Senapati, Religious leaders, Village authority members of Angkailongdi village, Entrepreneurs and Social Workers.
