Free health camp held at Moreh

Autonomous District Council Health Service, Chandel, Government of Manipur held a one day free health camp at Moreh Primary Health Centre, Moreh funded by the 13 Finance Commission Award 2012-2013 (General basic grant) from 7.30 am to 4 pm today.
The camp examined a total of 627 people out of which 47 were from the neighbouring country, Myanmar.
The camp detected five cases of Hepatitis C, three of whom were patients from Myanmar and two from the State.
Sixteen doctors, medicine specialist, gynaecologist, child specialist, ortho and ENT specialist from RIMS and seventeen others, including doctors from ADC Chandel, attended the camp.
The camp distributed about 4 lakhs worth of medicines free of cost to the patients.
