Complain Control Centre opened

All Manipur Trade Unions Council (AMTUC) president opened one Complain Control Centre at Lamphelpat Sanakeithel today, to hear the grievances of workers/labourers during these trying times.
In a statement, AMTUC stated that the centre is to be run by several unions affiliated to Central Labour Commissioner, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, New Delhi and AMTUC.
The launch function of the Complain Control Centre which was held conforming to SOPs for COVID-19 was attended by Bharatiya Theka Mazdoor Mahasangh, Kendra Adhikari A Premkumar Singh; MSPDCLEEU president Chanam Gyanen Singh, treasurer, Md Zakir Hussain; E Rickshaw Workers Union, general secretary, L Sanatomba Singh; All Manipur ANM Part-B Contract Employees Union, general secretary, K Jayarani Devi; executives of ICAR Workers Union; RIMS Sulabh Workers Union secretary; Safai Karmachari Sangh Manipur president, L Nungshitombi Devi; executives of Ex-Outsource Workers Union; NUT Manipur Contractual Union general secretary, M Nilamani Singh; M Tiken of IWDUOWU; Young Women Street Vendor Welfare Union treasurer, Akham Diana and ILWSVWU vice president along with members/executives of 17 unions via video conferencing.
AMTUC also stated that labourers can also submit their complaints to [email protected] or Whatsapp number 8974839284.The statement urged all E-Rickshaw operators to obey the SOPs laid down by the Government and experts for containing the coronavirus while in service.
It also urged the Labour Department to verify the ILP validity; Covid test report, contract license, employment license of the migrant workers for them to resume their activity following the SOPs for COVID-19 .
