IPSA condemns Pallel incident

International Peace and Social Advancement (IPSA) in a statement has strongly condemned the Pallel incident on May 5 where miscreants suspectedly of Aimol tribe open fired during a religious event.
The incident left one person dead and injured four others.
Terming the incident as unreasonable and as an act to create disharmony between the two communities, the statement said communally influenced act cannot be justified at any cost.
Amid a series of crusade for unity and peace by all sections of people in the State, the incident was condemned by all and at the same time had instilled into the people's mind to put in stringent efforts to spread the message of unity, harmony and peace, the statement said.
The statement also urged the State Government to take up action against the culprits so as to ensure that such anti-social activity does not recur.
