World AIDS Orphans Day held

14th World AIDS Orphans Day held by FXB India Suraksha Manipur Branch on Thursday at FXBIS situated at Singjamei Chongtham Leikai.
JNIMS ART Centre's Senior Medical Officer, Dr Manglem and Community Network for Empowerment (CONE) President, Nolinikanta graced the occasion as chief guest and president.
JNIMS Senior Nurse, Radhamani attended the programme as guest of honour.
Departing the Keynote address, FXB India Suraksha Manipur, Project Officer, Khoinaijam Sunil Meitei highlighted the programme's main agenda and the theme of this year as 'Walking for AIDS Orphans' under which a candle light Vigil and videos screening were announced.
He also announced FXB new website; FXB suraksha.in.
He also highlighted FXB's current functions such as FXB village network which supports HIV, AIDS infected persons by providing Nutrition, Education, Medical and Psychological aids.
Dr Manglem speaking as the chief guest praised the FXB programmes under which many HIV, AIDS infected persons and children are supported to live a normal life.
He also claimed with new medicines and more awareness that the ratio of HIV, AIDS infected orphans has reduce commendably.
