Mass vaccination conducted across state, 7230 jabbed in IW

Imphal, July 02 2021:
During the mass vaccination programme conducted by District Administration and CMO Imphal West in the district, 7230 people were administered Covid vaccine on Friday.
According to a report from the District Administration, a total of 7230 people were administered Covid vaccine, of which 7057 received their first dose and 173 the second dose of the vaccine during the mass vaccination programme conducted at 33 different locations.
As a part of mobile vaccination drive conducted in insulated vaccination bus under the aegis of Khurai MLA Susindro, Public Club in a release informed that seven people from Top Khongnangkhong were vaccinated and the mass vaccination programme will continue at the locality on July 5.According to another release, Patsoi Tulliyaima Century Club (PTCC) and United Club jointly conducted a mass vaccination programme at Patsoi Part-III community hall under the supervision of Patsoi MLA AK Mirabai and Imphal West DC and vaccinated 310 people.
Covid-19 Task Force Ward no.9 Keishamthong conducted vaccination programme at the community hall near Imphal Rising Youth Club, Keishampat Leimajam Leikai and vaccinated more than 200 people above 18 years of age.
During the mass vaccination programme held at Top-Chingtha Nongpok Ningthou Pangthoibi community Hall, more than 300 people from Laimanai and Top Chingtha were administered Covid vaccine.
The vaccination programme was conducted under the supervision of BJP Manipur Pradesh state secretary and Vaccination Committee BJP Manipur Pradesh state in-charge Kongbam Inaocha Devi by Nongpok Ningthou Youth Association, Laimanai Youth Club and Top-Chingtha Youth Progressive Organisation.
Moreover, 150 people were vaccinated in the vaccination programme held at Wangoo Cachartabi community hall.
It was conducted jointly by District Health Society Kakching and Wangoo Covid Task Force under the aegis of Sugnu MLA Ranjit.
Under the aegis of Hiyanglam MLA Dr Radheshyam Yumnam; District Health Society Kakching along with Covid Task Forces conducted Covid vaccination programme at Elangkhangpokpi and Hiyanglam Makha Leikai.
500 people got the jab of Covid vaccine at Elangkhanpokpi community hall and 327 were administered the vaccine at SWC Hi-yanglam Makha Leikai ground.
A mass COVID-19 vaccination drive was also conducted on Friday at Kak-wa Pukhri Achouba community hall during which around 500 people were vaccinated.
The vaccination drive was organised by Deepak Laiphrakpam, who is preparing to contest state assembly election from Langthabal AC, in coordination with volunteers of 16 clubs and organisations from Singjamei Waikhom Leikai to Canchipur.
MOREH: Tengoupal district administration in collaboration with District Health Society launched mass vaccination programme in remote areas of the district on Friday while various community leaders of the border town organised vaccination programmes at their respective offices from June 25 till 30 .
On Thursday, 114 people were vaccinated at Haolenphai village near Border pillar-76, while 66 were jabbed at PHC Moreh.
On Friday, 93 people were vaccinated at Khudengthabi village, Moreh along NH-102 .
An awareness programme was also organised which was attended by ADC Moreh K Jadumani Singh, SDO Moreh I Dineshkumar Singh and Moreh PHC MO i/c Kh Santikumar Singh.
Meanwhile, 31 people were vaccinated at ICP Moreh and 88 at Moreh PHC.
THOUBAL: District administration, Thoubal organised a mass vaccination programme at Madrasa Alia Lilong, Lilong Bazar Masjid Road under Lilong assembly constituency on Friday.
Conducted in the presence of Lilong MLA Y Antas Khan, SDO Lilong S Daulat Khan and Lilong police station OC Md Riyaj Khan, a total of 152 people including Madrasa Alia's ustads were vaccinated against Covid-19 .
