SFs provide assistance, conduct security meet

Imphal, July 02 2021:
Khoupum Battalion of IGAR (South) provided emergency medical aid to an individual of Keinou village of Bishnupur district on Thursday.
According to PRO IGAR(S), on Thursday 9 pm, the individual suffering from extreme chest pain was brought by the villagers to Medical Inspection Room of the Battalion.
The individual was immediately administered first aid and was further shifted to RIMS Imphal by the troops of Khoupum Battalion, it added.
On the other hand, Apunba Malom Club and 165 Territorial Army conducted a security meeting at Malom on Friday.
In a press release, Apunba Malom Club expressed gratitude towards 165 TA for agreeing to support the club and Malom Covid task force in running its Covid quarantine centre by providing various essential items on a daily basis.
The club also expressed that they now feel more connected and confident on seeing 165 TA in their locality as the troops are 100 per cent domicile of Manipur.
The club expects full cooperation, mutual respect and support from 165 TA who arrived recently at Malom, it said, adding that various issues about security and local administrations were discussed in the meeting.
The unit also assured to extend unflinching support to the locals, the release informed.
