Five Bills passed

Altogether five Bills were passed by the House in the Manipur Legislative Assembly session today.
The Bills include The Manipur Appropriation (No 2) Bill, 2018, which was put forward by Dy CM Y Joykumar, The Manipur Parliamentary Secretary (Appointment, Salary and Allowances and Miscellaneous Provisions) Repealing Bill, 2018 and The Manipur Public Service Commission (Additional Function) Second Amendment Bill, 2018, which were put forward by CM N Biren Singh, The Manipur (Hill Areas) District Councils (Fifth Amendment) Bill, 2018 and The Manipur Agricultural Produce and Livestock Marketing (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill, 2018, which were put forward by Tribal Affairs and Hills Minister, N Kayisii and Agriculture Minister V Hangkhanlian respectively.
The Opposition MLAs participated in the discussion of the first Bill but after they walked out of the House during discussion of the second Bill and as such, they did not take part in the discussion for the passing of the remaining Bills.
