All India Police Archery C'ship Manipur Police women's team bag runners up title

Imphal, February 23 2018:
The women team of Border Security Force (BSF) clinched the team title of the 6th All India Police Archery Championship 2017-18 hosted by Manipur Police at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex with 7 gold, 5 silver and 6 bronze medals while Manipur Police women's team clinched the runners up team title with 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal.
Sukhpreet of BSF bagged the best archer title for women in this championship with a total of 3 gold medals, one silver and one bronze medal while Balji Yadav who bagged 3 medals including 2 gold medals and 1 bronze medal win the men's best individual archer award.
The men's team title went to Indo Tibetan Border Police who fetched a total of 10 medals including 5 gold medals, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals while BSF finished runners up with 4 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 3 bronze medals.
The valedictory function of the championship held at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium was attended by Chief Minister N Biren as chief guest.
The function was also attended by other high ranking police officials.
