All India Police Archery Championship : BSF on brink of becoming team champions

Border Security Force (BSF) with 31 medals are on the brink of becoming team champions of the 6th All India Police Archery Championship 2017-18 hosted by Manipur Police at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex.
BSF continued to take lead with 4 gold medals and one silver medal on the fourth day of the championship.
Indo Tibettan Border Police also continued to stay on the second spot with 5 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 3 bronze medals while Punjab are in the third place with 5 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze medals.
Manipur are stagnant at the fourth spot with a total of 4 gold medals, 2 silver and 7 bronze medals.

Shukhpreet Kaur, Asharani, Balemai Hansda and Gunjan Kumari added another gold medal for leaders BSF in the recurve team event for women with six points while ITBP bagged the silver medal with 2 points.
The bronze medal of the event was claimed by CRPF with 6 points.
In the recurve team event for men, BSF grabbed another gold medal through Chaman Singh, Pawan Xalxo, Ajay and Surojit Nowholiay who shot for 5 points in the final round.
ITBP team comprising of Balaji Yadav, Priyank, Vedkumar and Baidyanath got 1 point to bag the silver medal while AR claimed the bronze medal with 4 (24) points.
The third gold medal for BSF was collected by the team of Pallabi Boro, Tutu Moni, Sapna Kumari and Kamini Boro scoring 6 points in the Indian Round team event for women while Manipur Police team comprising of H Rajpriyari, M Aruna Devi, K Manavidya and L Suni fetched the silver medal with 2 points.
Assam Police bagged the bronze medal in this event with 6 points.
In the Indian Round men's team final, Bersarting Nazary, Bishnu Ram Nath, Manaranjan Boro and Hari Babu Gupta of SSB got better of AR to lay their hands on the gold medal with 6 points.
L Saphaba, M Nanao, N Sanjoy and Y Niranjan bagged the bronze medal in this event.
In the compound team final for women, Punjab Police's Raj Kaur, Priyanso Kashyap, Jaswinder Kaur and Poonam Bala added another gold medal with 225 points while Rajasthan and Maharashtra teams bagged the silver and the bronze medals with 218 and 219 points.
Punjab Police bagged another gold medal through men's team comprising of Ankush Sharma, Lovejot Singh, Harpreet Singh and Inderjit Singh scoring 228 points while CRPF and Rajasthan Police bagged the silver and the bronze medals with 225 points and 228 points each.
