Clean India Campaign 2022 concludes

The one month long Clean India Campaign 2022 organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell Manipur University concluded today.
The valedictory ceremony was held at the Traffic Island Manipur University near Ghambir Singh monument, said a press release by NSS Cell, MU.
Professor M Premjit Singh, Dean's Student Welfare, Manipur University; Programme Officers of NSS UNIT-I, II and III, Dr S Sunil Singh; Dr Moirangthem Macha Chaoreikanba and Dr H Suraj Singh and NSS Cell Coordinator, MU, Dr M Nodiyachand Singh graced the occasion as the presidium members.
It may be noted that the one month long Clean India Campaign was inaugurated with a Plogging Run and cleanliness drive from Traffic Island, Manipur University on October 2, 2022 .

Professor N Lokendra Singh,Vice-Chancellor, Manipur University, led the Plogging Run and cleanliness drive which was carried around the campus namely SBI Bank, Health Centre, International Girls Hostels, Western side of the Staff Quarters, Children park, Boundary walls, Chandranadi river, Canteen road, Old Social Science Block and NSS Office.
With regards to the programme, Dr M Nodiyachand Singh, said that during the programme, clearance of all pending cases, files, processes in the Authority offices and Heads, Dean and Directors' offices were done apart from the regular cleanliness work of the campus and offices.
Around 200 volunteers including NSS members, students and research scholars partook in the programme.
