BJP lambasts Congress Govt

BJP Manipur Pradesh president Th Chaoba has said that Congress has now reached the intensive care unit (ICU) and the party is on the verge of dying in the State.
He was speaking at an election rally held at Molnoi in Chandel district today.
Th Chaoba said that no Congress flag is visible at the area this time indicating that the ruling party has reached ICU and it is now on the verge of dying in the State.
Chaoba alleged that the State Government has changed Tribal Welfare Department into Gaikhangam Family Welfare Department.
He said that tribal people have been reeling under different forms of hardships due to the unfulfilled assurances of Congress Government.
The party is not willing to solve the problems of tribal people although they understand how to solve these problems, Chaoba said.
Congress has not done anything for the welfare and development of tribal people so far although they have ruled the country for around 60 years after India got independence, Chaoba said.
All the development funds meant for tribal and poor people have been diverted to the pockets of Congress leaders, Chaoba said.
Saying that many incomplete offices and buildings have been inaugurated by Congress president Sonia Gandhi in Manipur, Chaoba said there are many incomplete buildings of different offices in the State.
He also said that BJP is not a communal party.
Speaking at the occasion, BJP National executive member and in-charge of Manipur, Tapir Gao said that Congress is a party which differentiates people on community lines.
Saying that Congress must be responsible for pathetic infrastructure in hill districts, Tapir Gao said that people must not give vote to a party which has looted public money.
