Imphal, January 11 2014 :
Those who fled from a designated camp recently along with 10 weapons have nothing to do with KLO-KLA, claimed the outfit's home secretary Kh Addy Kuki.
reacting to news report published in the January 4 edition of this daily about five KLO-KLA cadres decamping from a designated camp, Addy told some newspersons at a Sadar Hills area this morning that all the KLO-KLA cadres are intact at its Gamnuom Camp.
Disclosing that those who left the Sinai (designated) camp belong to the KNO/KLA, he also explained that even though KLO-KLA and KLA are separate entities both entered into suspension of operation pact with the State and Central Government under the banner of the KNO.
Opining that unconfirmed report should not be published, the home secretary also confided that KLO-KLA Sgt Maj (Army No.0399) Thangminlen Khongsai alias Tiger Kuki (28) s/o Lethang of S Bongyang village in Sadar Hills has been discharged from the organisation on medical ground.
While appealing to both armed groups and security forces not to harass Thangminlen or attempt to falsely implicate him, Addy also asserted that in case Thangminlen is found involved in any anti-party activity or misuse the organisation's name suitable action would be initiated against him.
