Discipline & quality education key for reformation: Nemcha

The best and the only sustainable key for reformation of society as well as oneself is through discipline and quality education, Nemcha Kipgen, MLA of 50-Kangpokpi A/C has stated.
But discipline is drastically lacking behind everywhere in Manipur today, she added.
Nemcha was speaking as President of the inaugural function of Keithelmanbi Youth Association Dais at Upper Playground and opening ceremony of the 10th Ward Wise Sports, 2014 at Keithelmanbi today.
The function was organized by Keithelmanbi Youth Association.
The function was by Ngamthang Haokip, Minister of IFC, Printing&Stationery, Govt.of Manipur as Chief Guest and Haokholal Hangshing,Chairman, ADC Sadar Hills as Guest of Honour.
Nemcha also stressed on the importance of Games and Sports for unity and appeal particularly to the youths of the society to abstain from drugs and alchohol since it lessen the standard and quality of games and sports in the society.
Speaking as Chief Guest of the function, Minister Ngamthang Haokip observed that there can be no development without unity and added that various developmental works are coming up in Sadar Hills with the post creation of SDO, SDC for Champhai Sub-Division under Sadar Hills.
Haokholal Hangshing maintained that it is vital to introduce traditional games and sports practiced by our forefather in the past in the field of today's games and sports arena.
Games and sports is also a part of education which cannot be ignored and avoided, he added.
While, Ngamthang Haokip inaugurated the Dais of Keithelmanbi Youth Association after the end of the biggest and largest ever "Lenkhom Lamkol"(a social gathering dance) of the tribal community particularly among the Kukis in the state, Nemcha Kipgen hoisted the KYA flag and Haokholal Hangshing opened the 10th Ward Wise Sports 2014 of Keithelmanbi Village.
