Zeliangrong Baudi urges Naga outfits

Zeliangrong Baudi has made a clarion call to work unitedly and in selfless manner in strengthening Indo-Naga peace process and Naga reconciliation and has urged the newly formed Zeliangrong LR to review the reason for its formation.
In a threadbare deliberation, Zeliangrong Baudi, Assam, Manipur and Nagaland president Raitu Chawang underlined the need to strengthen unitedly and in a selfless manner the ongoing Indo-Naga peace process and the Naga reconciliation under the aegis of the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) .
This was part of the resolution adopted at the 1st State Executive of Zeliangrong Baudi Manipur held on March 1, 2011 at Namching Village in Senapati district with Thomas Kamei, Chairman ZB Manipur in the chair and Samuel Suaihiamlung Kamei, state Secretary ZB Manipur recording the proceeding.
Another important resolution of the meeting was the appeal the assembly has made to the newly floated Zeliangrong outfit to reconsider its decision.
"Taking into account the present scenario in the in the Zeliangrong society, the house acknowledged the initiatives of the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) which has impacted the Zeliangrong region in bringing about peace and mutual understanding among various factions of Naga underground outfits," it stated, therefore the assembly has appealed to the newly floated Zeliangrong outfit to "review its decision" .
ZB will not encourage the formation of any new outfit/organization/faction at this critical juncture of Naga peace process in larger interest of the Naga nation, it further said, adding that Zeliangrong Baudi and Zeliangrong people shall render service to bridge the gap among various factions of Naga underground outfits.
The meeting has also resolved to constitute a good will mission in order to maintain peace and understanding among different groups of Naga underground outfits.
The meet was also attended by Zeliangrong leaders like Ningthaodai Gonmei, speaker ZB (AMN), Elu Ndang, general secretary ZB (AMN), Athuan Abonmai, Gaidon Kamei, Dr Benjamin Gangmei, Ashinpou Gangmei, Kalotdi Kamei, etc.
