Following the arrest of UNLF Chairman RK Sana Yaima and some other top ranking leaders of the outfit some months back, the UNLF is coming forward for dialogue with the Government of India, claimed Union Ministry of Home Affairs Secretary GK Pillai.
Speaking to media persons on the sideline of the opening function of Manipur Tribal Cultural Exchange Programme at Ukhrul district Hqs today, GK Pillai stated that following the arrest of UNLF Chairman RK Sana Yaima and some other top leaders from Guwahati some months back, the outfit has expressed its willingness to hold dialogue with the Government of India.
He went on to say that there is no question of losing an inch of India's territory because of the ongoing border fencing work along Moreh sector of Indo-Myanmar boundary.
There has been no change in the boundary line between the two countries that existed in 1947, GK Pillai asserted.
