Universal Mothers' Organisation pledges support to Th Brinda

Imphal, October 29 2021: Universal Mothers' Organisation and the courageous mothers who partook in the iconic protest against Indian Army in front of Kangla fort (2004) have pledged their support to intending candidate of Yaiskul constituency Thounaojam (O) Brinda Leima in the upcoming 12th Legislative Assembly election.

The event took place today at the sacred site of Ema Tampha Wangamlon located at Lamboi Khongnangkhong and was graced by M Soro Leima, president Universal Mothers' Organisation; Thokchom Ramani, president Nupi Samaj; TM Rajenayangba, president All Manipur Dalit Development Association and Thounaojam (O) Brinda Leima.

Speaking at the occasion, Th Brinda remarked that the time is ripe for women to be a part of the State Administration so as to rectify the pervasive issues damaging our society.

She added that Manipur is currently in a perilous state and called for all women to avoid all manners of corruption.
