'Armed Kukis being used to break Manipur'
Source: The Sangai Express

Imphal, October 09 2026: The proscribed PREPAK(Pro) has alleged that the Indian armed forces have been using armed Kuki immigrants to break Manipur.

A statement issued by PREPAK(Pro) Chairman Longjam Paliba M on the occasion of the Phingang Lanmi's 50th raising day (October 9) further alleged that the Indian military forces have been arming Kuki immigrants and encouraging them to do drug businesses.

Notably, Phingang Lanmi is the armed wing of the PREPAK(Pro) .

Offering revolutionary salute to all the martyrs who made the supreme sacrifice in the struggle to protect Manipur, the PREPAK(Pro) Chairman has expressed solidarity with all the victims who sustained injuries in the protracted war of aggression, missing persons and displaced families.

A large number of countries have been working hard to create a multi-polar world in place of the unipolar world led by the USA and Western Europe.

India is a founding member country of BRICS.

At the same time, India is also a member of the QUAD grouping formed by the USA to contain China in the Pacific Ocean.

The objectives of BRICS and QUAD are totally contradictory but India has been trying to cosy up with both the groups, remarked the statement issued by the PREPAK(Pro) Chairman.

Manipur is now facing serious challenges on account of the alleged State terrorism unleashed by the Government of Manipur which is ruling the State together with Kuki terrorists.

At the same time, the State Government has been branding all those people who have been protesting against the growing challenges to the integrity of Manipur as miscreants, it said.

It said that the Government of India has made a clever ploy to portray that it is the Government of Manipur elected by the people of Manipur which has been paving for disintegration of Manipur, Longjam Paliba said.

He asked whether the MLAs elected from the valley are aware of how the Government of India has been scheming to fulfil the aspirations of the Kuki terrorists.

A peaceful and developed Manipur is not in the interest of India.

It is the Government of India's policy which created unrest and anarchy in Manipur, read the statement.

A large number of IDPs are not allowed to go back to their homes nor are they allowed to cultivate their paddy fields.

At the same time, Kuki terrorists and Indian armed forces have surrounded the valley and thus prevented indigenous from interacting with each other, it said.

This situation of siege is a gift from the cowardly MLAs elected by the people from the valley, it alleged.

It is crucial to understand the reason and motive behind the efforts to finish off village volunteers who were protecting the motherland, instead of strengthening them, Longjam Paliba said.

He said that several 'home-coming ceremonies' participated by youths who volunteered to defend the State from Kuki narco-terrorists have been held openly and secretly.

Saying that Manipur is currently facing a serious threat to its survival, the PREPAK(Pro) Chairman asserted that it's time to pool in all the resources and prepare for the future.

He said that the attitude of mental weakness shown by the Meitei community is a result of the community bowing to India for a long time .

If the people's war is fought in the manner fought some years back, it will be hard to achieve the goal.

The people's war should be led by revolutionary fighters as vanguards, he said.

It is a matter of grave concern that Meitei people serving in Manipur and India armed forces do not support the revolutionary movement even by the slightest degree.

Rather, they see the revolutionaries as enemies and work deliberately to eliminate the revolutionaries, read the statement.

With the BJP Government manipulating the GDP data to portray high growth rate, economists have been mocking the Indian GDP as "Gross Domestic Propaganda", it remarked.

India has vast resources and a huge number of educated youth.

At the same, there are a large number of political leaders who do want their people to develop, it said.

When KNF-B militants killed innocent villagers at Pilong village within Manipur, the Government of India did not bother to launch any operation like Operation Sindoor, it said.

It further appealed to all sections of people to prepare to take on proxies created by the Government of India.
