State Men's U-16 cricket team head to Cuttack for Vijay Merchant Trophy

Imphal, November 28 2023: The Manipur Cricket Association has flagged off State's Men's U-16 team for the Vijay Merchant Trophy 2023-24 beginning on December 1 in Cuttack, Odisha.

The team comprise 15 players and 8 support staff.

The players who will be representing Manipur in the multi-day competition are Yumnam Achouba of YWC (L), Rain Urikhinbam of TCMDC, Naesh Hussain (Vice Captain) of RCA, Bisal Ningombam of MODEL, Robinson Sougaijam (Captain) of PTRC, Thomsan Moirangthem of PSC, Hanjabam Donba of ESU, Binson Laithangbam of CYCLONE, Saikhom Lanchenba of AKSDO, Md Danish of RCA, Saikhom Kaiku of AKSDO, Ningthoujam Kenedy of YUCC, Laishram Valindra of TCMDC, Takhellambam Nganba of TCMDC, Seram Nandake-shwor of BLUE HAWK.

The team are led by Namoijam Lokeshor Singh as Head Coach, Meikam Chaoba as Asst Coach besides other support staff Shanglakpam Bhabananda Sharma (Physio), Khwairakpam Rocky Singh (Asst Physio), Wahengbam Kunjabihari (Trainer), Ngangbam Maheshkumar (Sidearm Thrower), Chingakham Jelexon Singh (Video Analyst) and Chabungbam Bobby Singh (Manager) .
