Kongkham Jemon Singh Foundation extends financial, material assistance

Kongkham Jemon Singh Foundation has distributed winter blankets and provided financial assistance to the workers of Emoinu Brick Farm, Bishnupur, many of whom are conflict survivors who have fled from their homes.
Kongkham Manglem, social worker and founder of the Foundation along with his family attended the aid extension initiative wherein the gathering observed a 2-minute silence to honour the martyrs who have laid down their lives in the conflict.
Further, floral tributes were also offered on the portraits of the deceased individuals.
Speaking on the occasion, Kongkham Manglem (proprietor of Emoinu Brick Farm) maintained that the public needs to extend all possible help to the displaced people who have lost their homes to arson and have been uprooted from their hometown since violence broke out in the State on
May 3 .
Stating that the Foundation will continue to provide similar aid to those in need, K Manglem also appealed to the relevant authorities, State CSOs and the public to work collectively towards bringing peace and normalcy in Manipur.
Thiyam Dilip, Member, Nachou Zila Parishad also echoed similar sentiments and urged people to uphold the territorial integrity of Manipur together.
Naorem Glacier, secretary, Kaiba Club Bishnupur and other notable persons also attended the aid extension effort.
