Imphal, November 02 2023: The Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI) has provided cash assistance to the two persons who sustained injuries in the September 8 firing at Pallel, today.

The medical and healthcare team of COCOMI led by its coordinator YK Dhiren gave Rs 5,000 each to Mayanglambam Shyamsunder (40), s/o Late Tomchou of Kakching Makha Leikai Sabal Pareng and Shamurailatpam Seityam Sharma (37), s/o Late Niladhaza of Keirak Mamang Leikai.

Speaking to the media, YK Dhiren said that they would provide a monthly stipend to the married and breadwinners of their families who got injured in the conflict.

He said that they would lend a helping hand in the treatment of the injured apart from giving them the stipend.

Saying that COCOMI could carry out such a goodwill gesture due to the support of the people, Dhiren appealed to one and all to donate to the corpus fund of COCOMI so that they can help more people.
