Deaths condoled

Imphal, March 22 2024:
Coalition Against Drugs And Alcohol (CADA) has expressed profound sorrow and condolences over the untimely demise of its Imphal East District Committee advisor Ningthoujam (o) Memchoubi.
According to a release issued by CADA, Ima Memchoubi from Keirao Bitra, Imphal East passed away on March 20, 2024 due to an illness.
She was 72 .
Ima Memchoubi worked as a primary teacher at Keirao Social Primary School till her retirement in 2012 .
As a teacher, she guided and inspired many young minds to do better & become the best version of themselves.
She was also the president of Panthoibi Leimarol Lamjing Meira Association, Keirao Bitra.
CADA has shared the grief & pain of the bereaved family and prayed that the departed soul may rest in peace in the heavenly abode.
Meanwhile, a condolence meeting was convened today at the office of Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) Manipur State Branch in MG Avenue to mourn the demise of IRCS Thoubal Branch patron member Moirangthem David Singh from Heirok and IRCS Manipur State Branch life member Maisnam Premananda from Uripok Bachaspati Leikai.
The meeting was attended by IRCS Manipur State Branch chairman Narendra Ningomba, vice chairman Dr Laishram Manglem, treasurer Naoroibam Premjit and other members of IRCS branches from Ukhrul, Thoubal & Bishnupur districts, said a release issued by IRCS.
The gathering observed two minutes of silence to pray for the departed souls to rest in peace in the heavenly abode.
