AR reaches out to Home, organises welfare progs

IGAR (S) donated five computer sets and installed ten street lights under Operation Sadbhavaha at JJ Children Home, Moreh on Wednesday.
According to PRO IGAR (S), the initiative aligns with Assam Rifles' on going efforts to address the needs and concerns of the community, aiming to create a positive and nurturing environment for-orphaned students and the local population.
On the other hand, Assam Rifles participated in organising a "One Day Exhibition.
Match" and donated sports items to Citizens' Club, Moirang in Bishnupur district, in connection with the celebration of the club's 60th foundationday.
Interactive session with T Nampao village in Chandel district was also organised by the troopers on Thursday, the PRO informed.
Recognising the significance of maintaining peace and security along NH 2 connecting Manipur with Mizoram, Assam Rifles organised a security meet at S Khollen village in Churachandpur district on Thursday, the PRO informed, adding that the troopers also extended immediate medical assistance to one Semkholo (19) of Aigejang village, Chandel district who sustained injury on his right forearm from a fall.
