Free health camps conducted

Imphal, January 28 2024:
Chanu Nawa Teng-bang Lup, Singjamei Chin-gamathak Chongtham Leikai and Anganwadi workers and helpers under IDCS Project Wangoi, jointly organised a free health camp for residents of the relief camp set up at Mekola Gulap Higher Secondary School on Sunday.
During the camp, blood pressure, diabetes, general medicine, gynaecology, paediatrics and other related tests were conducted.
The camp residents were also provided with free medicines, along with distribution of sanitary pads for the women.
Meanwhile, Jivan Hospital, Kakching and Yengkhom Netramani College of Nursing Kakching jointly organised a one-day free health camp at Langmeidong Bazar on Sunday.
During the camp, which was conducted with the support of Chief Medical Officer, Kakching and family of Yumnam Rio of Langmeidong, around 335 people underwent health check-up including blood tests and provided with free medicines.
The camp was attended by Hiyanglam MLA Dr Yumnam Radheshyam and Jivan Hospital managing director Dr Yengkhom Ashok Kumar.
