MLA Rameshwar dedicates blacktopped road

Kakching MLA Mayanglambam Rameshwar on Sunday inaugurated the newly blacktopped Kakching Makha Leikai Sabal Ashangba Pareng road and dedicated the same to the people.
The road has been blacktopped under his MLA Local Area Development Fund.
Later, he inspected the construction of the new building of Kakching Loumi Upper Primary School at Kakching Sumak Leikai Panjao.
Speaking to media persons on the sidelines of the programmes, MLA Rameshwar revealed that with support of chief minister N Biren and works minister Govindas Konthoujam, he is planning to repair all the roads in Kakching assembly constituency by using paver blocks.
He also mentioned that construction of the new building of Kakching Lou mi Upper Primary School will be completed soon with the assistance of education minister Th Basanta.
Rameshwar further conveyed that even though the state is in the grip of ethnic conflict, development works cannot be halted.
He also emphasised that the conflict should be resolved at the earliest possible with equal focus on developmental projects in order to prevent the state from regressing.
Development of the state is also the reason why the government is taking up various projects in Kakching and other parts of the state, he added.
