Imphal, July 19 2010:
A six-week entrepreneurship development programme on preservation and processing of fruits and vegetables for rural youth and SHGs has kick started at Huyel Lalong Manipur Thang-Ta Cultural Association hall, Iribung today.
The programme is being organised by Goodwill Foundation for Culture, Bamon Kampu under the sponsorship of Union Ministry of Food Processing Industries.
The training programme is being participated by 30 youths including 18 girls.
ICM Principal Dr Kh Somorendro, Food Technologist of Directorate of Commerce and Industries, M Tonjao and Huyen Lallong Manipur Thang-Ta Cultural Association Director Padmashri G Gourkishore Sharma were present in the opening function as chief guest, guest of honour and president respectively.
