Many continue to extend relief items to those who have been displaced by the ongoing conflict in the State.
A team of Kongpal Social Development Organisation cum Youth Centre and All Meira Paibi Kongpal Khaidem Leikai today provided relief materials to the shelter camps opened at Hiyanglam Girls High School and Lotus Club.
To acknowledge and appreciate the personnel of Manipur Police for their dedicated service & sacrifice, the team also extended essential items to Sugnu CDO Post.
Naorem Dinesh, general secretary of the club has shared that the team will continue to provide humanitarian aid to the people affected by the ongoing conflict.
Sayang Kurao Makhong Mamang Salam Kolup also distributed relief materials such as pillow, bucket, plastic matt, soap, shampoo, washing powder, etc to the relief camp opened at Shamasakhi Girls' High School in Yaiskul Janmasthan.
Similarly, Nongmeikapam Ningol Sinam Ongbi Kunjarani also provided food items to the relief camp opened at Ideal Girls' College, Akampat in memory of her late mother, N Achoubi from Mongkhang Lambi.
Manipuri Meitei Association Bangalore (MMAB) in association with Lukram Leirak Youth Club (LLYC), Sagolband, also distributed relief materials to 9 shelter camps opened at Kakching Khunou Makha High School, Kakching Khunou Hijam Angom Leikai, Kakching Khunou Community Hall, Thongjao Community Hall, Thongjao Maning Ching, Elang Kangpokpi Mayai Leikai Mandab, Lamjao Upper Primary School, Yumbi Macha High School Kakching and Victory High School Kakching.
The team also carried out a health check-up and distributed medicines to the inmates of the shelter camps.
