Donations pour in for victims of present unrest

In the midst of the ongoing turmoil in Manipur, the residents of Binselu Village, Cachar District, have displayed a remarkable act of empathy.
The people of Binselu village have donated a sum of Rs 44,500 to Shija Hospitals & Research Institute Pvt Ltd (SHRI), to provide free treatment to victims of the ongoing violence, said a release issued by SHRI.
Despite being just 45 households, Meira Paibis and youths of the village have rallied together to extend a helping hand to those affected by the violence.
This philanthropic act amplifies the indomitable spirit and unwavering commitment of the Binselu community in standing beside those affected by the current crisis in Manipur.

It may be noted that Shija Hospitals announced free treatment facilities to those who have sustained injuries as a result of the prevailing violence, regardless of ethnic background on June 9, 2023 .
The management of Shija Hospitals expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Binselu Village for their generous contribution and added that their donation will go a long way in helping the hospital provide much-need medical assistance to those impacted by the violence in Manipur.
Besides, Raj Medicity, a leading hospital in Manipur, has received a donation of Rs 50,000 from Laishram Sadananda Memorial Trust.
While receiving the donation, Haobijam Rajen Singh, chairman & managing director, Raj Medicity, acknowledged the efforts made by the donor and thanked the Trust for their generosity, said a release issued by Raj Medicity.
He shared that the donation will play a vital role in the efforts of Raj Medicity to provide free & effective treatment to all those who have been affected by the ongoing violence.
