Differently-abled persons, meira paibis extend relief

Relief Centre for the Welfare of Differently Abled Persons Manipur have donated one wheelchair, two blankets and one commode chair in the interest of the differently abled people seeking shelter at Moirang College Multipurpose Hall relief camp today.
According to a statement issued by the Centre, today's relief effort was attended by Nimol Ningombam, media advisor, Relief Centre for the Welfare of Differently Abled Persons Manipur; Karnajit Khoibam, Relief Officer and Ph Victoria Devi, Women & Child Welfare Officer.
The Centre has also expressed its gratitude towards the Social Welfare Department for sponsoring one wheelchair for today's relief initiative.

Separately, as part of their continuing effort to help the displaced families seeking refuge in relief camps across the State, the ldeal Women Welfare Meira Paibi, Narankonjin Mamang Leikai, Imphal extended aid to the inmates at Urup Minority Girls Hostel relief camp today.
In this regard, Asem Purnima, member, Ideal Women Welfare Meira Paibi stated that members of the Association had collected whatever little money they could afford to provide relief materials to the victims of the conflict.
She also appealed to the State Government to consider the suffering of the displaced families and take up measures to resettle them.
It may be noted that 151 inmates who have fled from their homes in Moreh and Churachandpur have found sanctuary here at Urup Minority Girls Hostel relief camp.
