Mayanglambam Rameshwar stresses on development even in times of crisis

Kakching, November 05 2023: Kakching Assembly Constituency MLA Mayanglambam Rameshwar has asserted that developmental efforts should not take a backseat even in light of the ongoing conflict.

"We will face the Manipur crisis head on and also take up developmental works at the same time", said the MLA during a ceremony to handover a newly blacktopped road at Kakching Makha Leikai Sabal Asangba Pareng.

In addition, the MLA also inspected the construction work of Kakching Loumi Upper Primary School.

Speaking to the media in this connection, he stated that developmental efforts are put on the backburner owing to the conflict, then it will significantly dampen the pace of development in the region.

In a bid to deal with the aggression of Kuki militants, the State forces in collaboration with the Central forces have launched extensive operations at Moreh.

Saying this, he urged the people to focus on restoring normalcy and stressing on development in areas which are not conflict-ridden.

Echoing the State Government's call that Manipur cannot be left behind in the race for development, the Kakching Assembly Constituency MLA asserted that today's developmental efforts in Kakching had been initiated with a belief in the State Government's message.
