One sided matches continued to define XENOH Corporate Challenge Cup as of the four matches played today, the winners emerged convincing victors with huge margins with none of them conceding a goal.
In the first ground of the morning session today, Rajpri Enterprises downed Shija Hospitals (A) by a margin of three goals to nil, with the goals coming from Themso Shimray in the 30th and 36th minute while Samson Rai added another one in the 43rd minute to seal the match.
Babina Diagnostic followed suit in ground 2 easily overcoming Kongkham Elte by a margin of 6 goals to nil.
M Robin and Ch Pradeep scored twice in the 8th, 34th and 26th and 37th minute respectively, while Jiny Zazip and Th Arun added one goal each to finish the rout.
In the first match of the evening session Airport Authority of India stamped their class over a hapless All Manipur Working Journalists' Union by a margin of 5 goals to nil.
For AAI, Dinesh opened the account in the 30th minute followed by Kh Kiran in the 33rd minute, Ajang in the 35th minute, Halix in the 37th and 55th minute.
City Hospital continued the trend of one sided match, when it brushed aside Indigo by a margin of 5 goals to nil in the second match of the evening session.
Athen opened the account in the 12th minute and Denis came into his elements to score four goals on the trot in the 35th, 54th, 57th and 60th minute of the match to complete the misery of Indigo.
Denis displayed skills to repeatedly beat the defenders and the 5th goal was a solo effort as he slotted home the ball after wrong footing two defenders of Indigo.
