Lamka, February 26 2014 :
"As long as our political practices are confined to India's constitutional paradigm, our mandates will continue to be divided, ethnicised, and animosity rampant.
Our revolutionary determination is to protect Manipuris from further dissection on ethnic, communal and hill-valley lines so as to bring about a sustainable and unified armed struggle," the statement continued.
Manipur had a distinct history of organic and stable evolution of inter-community civilizational relations.
The democratic aspect of Manipuri commune organicity is found quite distinctly in every cultural, economic, language interface, and institutions of governance as it continue to inspire Manipuri alternative worldviews to the existing maladies produced by colonial conditions.
India's colonial policies have disrupted these democratic distinctiveness and shared unity as a result of which misunderstanding amongst communities has soared up while instilling a sense of dejection and hopelessness in 'our contemporary psyche' .

"The onus that lies with each and every subjugated person of our nation is to come out of the colonial haze so as to enable an open inter-community dialogue within our political discourse instead of expecting anything from an engagement with colonial India, may it be in terms of peace-talks or capitalist developmentalism, etc" .
"Our revolutionary destiny must be through a progressive internal retrospection.
It's time to come out of the colonial fixation and build a new pluralistic, egalitarian Manipur," it asserted.
The ills of drug trafficking, corruption, crime against women, ever-increasing poverty, racism, militarization of civic life are all consequences of India's colonialism.
The growing class distinction is, thus, becoming a reality and it is further compounded through a systematic encouragement of corruption and bribery which is a long term strategy to subjugate Manipuri society.
The sweat and toils of youths are meaningless as their growth scopes are limited to some private firms and security services.
But encouraging and institutionalization of corrupt practices is a part of any colonial regimentation, and the Indian state is running in full gear in our part of the world.
"It is a historic moment for all the revolutionary forces in Manipur that our movements have come together to fight united in the recent times.
This unity is to strengthen our fight for liberation and to obviously play a decisive role in the defeat of mighty colonial forces and also corner all the divisive forces which are temporally creating black-sheep and pseudo revolutionaries", it asserted.
"Such a disturbing situation is nothing but handiwork of colonial India.
Our unified politics can filter any non-revolutionary seepage and we can, for sure, herald our people's expectation and aspirations.
Let us remember, our liberation is in our hands, liberation is not a myth as histories of liberation in the world stand to testify", concluded the RPF President.
