CCpur bids adieu to its longest serving DC

The ADC Churachandpur today bid farewell to its outgoing Deputy Commissioner, also the longest serving ever recorded and one of the most sociable one, in a simple yet formal function while she reciprocated the gesture by thanking the public through the local Press.
At the ADC's farewell function, ADC Chairman Langkhanpau extolled her and prayed for a prosperous career ahead while the Vice Chairman, Demmang hailed her as the longest serving DC of the district who was able to manage to evade any form of standoff with the public, hoards of CSOs or the elected members.
They have also presented her parting gifts.
The Deputy Commissioner, Jacintha Lazarus presided her last meeting with the district level officers and thanked them for the support they had given to her throughout her stay here.
Notably Jacintha had during her four-and-a-half-years stint toured the nook and corner of the district and hosted the DLCC meeting in all sub-divisional headquarters but Henglep, where she settled it for a proxy site at Leimatak for the sake of the aged officers.
She however travelled on Shaktiman and walked on foot for two days touring the most inaccessible areas of Henglep sub-division in 2011 .
She had also during her tenure saw the most remarkable growth in the financial sector with over 8 new bank branches coming up in the district.
