Imphal, December 18 2010:
Naorem Boynao Singh of Kakching Phousupat Leikai secured the silver medal in the 15th IFMA World Muay Thai Championship held at Bangkok from november 27 till December 5, informed Friendship Sporting Club, Kakching Phousupat.
Born to N Krishnamohan and Bimola devi, Boynao represented India in the Championship which had participants from about 100 countries, and finished second in senior men's 51 kg competition.
Boynao began training under the watchful eyes of Ksh Jugeshwor Singh of Kakching Turel Wangma Ward No 5, the Club informed while adding that Jugeshwor is presently an instructor of Indus International School, Bangalore.
