Source: The Sangai Express
Imphal, July 12, 2013:
The Naga Women's Union and the Rongmei Lu Phuam (RLP) have expressed unhappiness over the delay in delivering justice in the molestation/sexual assault of a young girl at Napetpali on December 24 last year.
According to a joint press statement of RLP and Naga Women's Union, the case filed by Lamlai PS has been greatly delayed as six months have passed.
The victim girl from Risophung Village has been bearing mental and physical agony ever since the incident happened.
The civil societies would no longer remain as silent spectators if the case remains further neglected.
