Imphal, July 16 2012:
Kangleipak Students' Association (KSA) has today pointed out discrepancies in the 4th semester MA/M Sc examinations conducted by MU .
Addressing a press meet today, secretary of academic and community affairs of KSA, Bidyananda pointed out that only 9 questions of 60 marks were set against full mark of 75 in the Inorganic Chemistry Special-III subject of the chemistry department.
He said that though the HoD and controller of examination had admitted the flaws, they could not suggest remedial measures to compensate the 15 marks.
Stating that it was intriguing, the KSA leader wondered how it could happen.
The KSA also questioned the validity of a notification issued by the MU authority regarding fixing the last date of admission of 3rd and 4th semesters to July 25 while the 2nd and 4th semesters students would finish their exam on July 18 .
