Francis urges DLOs (district level officers)

RD and PR Minister Francis Ngajokpa has urged all district level officers of the hill districts to attend their respective offices at least twice in a week.
He was speaking as the functional president of the one-day farmers-scientists interaction on Agri-business opportunities in Senapati district at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Senapati district headquarters under the aegis of District Agriculture Office, Senapati.
Francis said the public faced difficulties when the district level government officers are not found in their office while adding that the suffering of the public are only multiplied.
He urged the officials to extend cooperation to the concerned DC .
Speaking at the occasion as the chief guest, Agriculture Minister, Md Abdul Nasir said agri-business would play a big role in bringing development in the district.
District Agriculture Officer of Senapati, M Gojendro said that the Agriculture department has extended cooperation to the farmers for enhancement of produces while citing the implementation of Rastriya Kishan Vikash Yojana and integrated pest management under the Agricultural Technology Management Agency.
He also said the department has opened a Plant health Clinic in the district.
The function was also attended by MLA Dr V Alexander Pou, MLA Dikho, DC of Senapati, PK Jha and Director of Agriculture, L Palendro as the guests of honour.
