Stating that the indefinite bandh imposed along Dingku road will continue until their de-mands are fulfilled, JAC constituted in connection with the death of Sapam Robinhood has said that all the shops of the road are now permitted to remain open from 5 am to 12 pm considering the inconvenience faced by the people residing at the area.
Urging the people to extend support and co-operation to the ongoing bandh, the JAC in a statement said that religious activities, media, water supply, medical, electricity and telecommunication staff are relaxed from the purview of the bandh.
The JAC further said that they have been clamping the bandh with a hope that people would get justice regarding Sapam Robinhood's death if they keep on pressing the Government through this stir.
Meanwhile, the Khuman Lampak Stadium road, also known as Dingku road, was completely blocked by the JAC constituted against the brutal killing of Sapam Robinhood today too.
In the evening, protesters damaged a moped, stated a report.
The incident happened today at around 5 pm when two persons from Wangkhei riding a moped went along the road and had a tussle with the protesters over passage through the road, added the report.
A big commotion ensued the incident.
