Teams formed to help movement of stranded folks

The State Home Department has constituted two teams consisting of officers to facilitate inter-State movements of stranded migrant workers, pilgrims, tourists, students and other persons.
Officials in each team constituted under Md Rehanuddin, Joint Secretary Home with assistance of Joel G Haokip, Deputy Secretary Home to regulate the movements of the stranded people are as follows.
Team A: Ramnganing Zimik, MFS, CFO TA; Nongthombam Sudip Singh, MFS, Jt Director, Treasury & Account; Salam Somorendra Singh, MFS, CFO Works; Pangambam Premjit Khuman, MFS, Jt Commissioner of Taxes and Ronal Naorem, MFS, Sr FO, HTE.
Team B : Konsam Binku Singh, MFS, Jt Director, Treasury & Account; Ningthoujam Suranjan, MFS, Jt Director, LFA; A Heera Singh, MSS, Under Secy, FD (PIC)/ For/ IPR; Varewung Khongreingam, MSS, Under Secy, Eco& Stats RD& PR and Dr RA Ransing, MSS, Under Secy TA & Hills.
Team A will be on duty from 7 am to 2 pm and team B will be on duty from 2 pm to 9 pm on all days including Sundays and Holidays before the shift change after every 7 days, said a statement of State Home Department.
The teams will be responsible for movement of stranded people to and fro all States, record and disseminate information relating to vehicles and people entering Mao and Jiribam to Health Department for necessary medical screening/testing as per protocol.
The officers named above shall report for duty immediately to Joint Secretary, Home, the statement continued.
It also added that Administrative Secretaries and Heads of Department of the above officers may assign their present duties to other officers during their attachment to the Home Department's Cell.
