SBM extends helping hand during lockdown

Imphal, May 03 2020:
The Seva Bharti Manipur has been providing relief materials including masks, hand sanitisers and other essential items to many across the State.
So far, SBM has distributed 10,000 face masks, it said in a statement issued by its secretary, Kh Rajen Singh today.
More than 350 SBM karyakartas have also been engaged in spreading awareness about COVID-19 and its preventive measures in places across the State.
They demonstrated proper ways of handwashing and distributed home made hand sanitisers besides spraying disinfectants at many places, said SBM.

Assuring further assistance to the people and relief measures amid the lockdown due to coronavirus, SBM informed that it has also provided daily essential items including rice, pulses, edible oil, pepper, salt etc to stranded students, workers and locals at Maram, Ukhrul, Churachandpur, Mantripukhri and Langjing etc.
It recently provided relief materials to three Arunachal Pradesh students stranded at Ukhrul, SBM said adding nurses from the State who are stranded in Assam have also been assisted by karyakartas of the Assam unit of Seva Bharti.
