Training camp for Army, AR recruitment begins

Noney, March 06 2023: Tamenglong Battalion Assam Rifles of 22 Sector Assam Rifles/IGAR (E) is organising a pre-re-cruitment training at Tamei, COB for male candidates to train them for upcoming recruitment rallies for Ag-niveer (Indian Army) and Assam Rifles.

The training camp from March 6 to 18 is in continuation of Assam Rifles' efforts to empower the local youth to ensure enrolment from far flung areas of Tamei sub-division.

The main objective of the training programme is to guide and prepare potential candidates to clear various tests in the recruitment process of Indian Army and Assam Rifles.

The camp will include scrutiny of documents followed by physical test and skill test under experienced coaches and medical examination by Assam Rifles medical staff.

The candidates attending the training capsule will also be awarded prizes for meritorious performances and participation certificates upon completion of the training.

The officiating commandant of 44 Assam Rifles during his address highlighted the pivotal role of young minds in shaping the society and how the training will benefit the youth in future.

He also spoke about the importance of education and physical training, which will thereby assist in moulding character and ensuring wellbeing of future generations.
