Aid extended to accident, snakebite victims

Imphal, July 15 2022:
Khuga Battalion of IGAR (S) provided emergency medical aid to a man who on Thursday had an accident at Singhat market in Churachandpur district while returning from work on his bike from Tangpijol.
In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that the victim fell down after colliding with another vehicle and sustained injuries.
The individual was brought to Assam Rifles medical aid post at Singhat with the help of locals where he was rendered emergency medical treatment to stabilise his condition and subsequently discharged.
On the other-hand, Keithelmanbi Battalion of IGAR (South) provided immediate life-saving medical assistance to a woman who bitten by a snake in an Imphal West district area on Thursday.
In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that a woman was bitten by a venomous snake in vicinity of Keithelmanbi Garrison.
On receipt of the information, troops of Assam Rifle rushed to provide immediate and essential medical aid to the victim and stabilised her condition.
