Trees planted to mark WED

Imphal, June 06 2022:
Along with organising a tree plantation drive, Manipur State Legal Services Authority (MASLSA) observed World Environment Day at the High Court Judges' Guest House here on Monday.
Manipur High Court Judge and MASLSA executive chairman Justice Lanusungkum Jamir and others planted tree saplings inside the Guest House Complex as a part of the observance which was organised on the theme of Only One Earth'.
The observance cum tree plantation was also attended by District and Sessions Judge Imphal West cum chairperson DLSA Imphal West A Guneshwar Sharma, District and Sessions Judge Imphal East RK Memcha Devi, MASLSA member secretary Ojesh Mutum, DLSA Imphal East secretary Arshad Saeed Shah, and DLSA Imphal West secretary Heeralata Moirangthem.
Meanwhile, in connection with the observance, Golf Company of 165 Territorial Army along with the residents of Khongkhang village carried out a tree plantation drive and planted around 100 saplings at the village and location of the company.
