Rohit's family warns of agitation

While denouncing the delay in ensuring justice in the case of N Rohit, who died in a pre-poll violence incident that took place in Heirok; Rohit's elder brother N Roshan has cautioned of launching intense agitation along with the JAC, family and the locality if the judgement on the matter is not given by March 3.Speaking to newspersons at Manipur Press Club here on Saturday, Roshan informed that the Sessions Judge of Thoubal has yet again reserved pronouncement of judgement in the Rohit death case.
In addition to not ordering the recovery of the weapons used in the crime, the culprits involved in the crime are yet to be arrested, while those arrested in are the process of getting bail.
"Instead of giving the judgement on Friday, the Court has again reserved pronouncement of the judgement to another date.
As the government is more enthusiastic about the polls, the JAC along with family and people of Heirok will be boycotting Amit Shah's election campaign on March 2," he informed, while cautioning of unwanted consequences if the campaign is forcefully carried out in Heirok.
Roshan then appealed to Thoubal Sessions Judge to ensure justice in the case as soon as possible.
