AR arrests three KRA cadres

Kangpokpi, February 26 2022:
Jwalamukhi Battalion of 22 Assam Rifles/IGAR (E) apprehended three active cadres of Kuki Revolutionary Army (KRA) along with side arms and ammunition from their possession on Saturday around 1:15 am near Singda Dam under Saitu AC in Kangpokpi district.
KRA is an entity of Suspension of Operations under Kuki National Organization (KNO), which is engaging in tripartite talks with the central and state governments.
The arrested cadres have been identified as Amosh Kom (28), son of Songkholet Kom of Ichum Kom village; Lamgoulen (21), son of Seimang of Sajal village, and Angam Haokip (27), son of Seijang Haokip of Khoken village.
The arrested cadres were handed over to Gamnom Saparmeina Police Station for further necessary action and an FIR has been registered.
