Bishnupur, February 26 2022:
Former art and culture minister Kh Jibon has appealed for free and fair conduct of election.
Speaking to media persons at Bishnupur Bazar on Saturday, Kh Jibon reminded that as election is one of the most important events in the life of people living in a democratic country one should cast vote for the most educated candidates who will work for the people, protect territorial integrity of Manipur and repeal AFSPA rather than backing candidates, who intend to use money power as these persons not never contribute towards resolving corruption and unemployment issues.
In Europe, those who contest election are considered as players.
However, in India, people are afraid of contesting election because of the rising capitalist power in the country, he added.
