Importance of focussing on startups highlighted

The Corporate Leaders Conclave, Version 2, (CLC2), 2023 was held at the Polytechnic Hall of Manipur Technical University (MTU) today.
The conclave was jointly organised by Management Department, MTU and Corporate Sync on the theme "Evolving, Expanding, Exceeding Business Possibilities".
Dignitaries present at the event include Priyadarshini Laishram, SP, Immigration, Manipur Police; K Biju, Assistant Registrar, MTU and Dr M Roshni, HOD, MTU Management as the chief guest, functional president and guest of honour respectively.
Speaking as the chief guest, SP Priyadarshini stated that the State Government has backed the private sector through subsidy schemes, skill development training and financial aid and brought the State into a new phase of development.
Addressing the issue of unemployment, she urged the youth to become job creators instead of mere job seekers by taking advantage of the benefits offered by the State.
She called for all round development of the Government sector, private sector and joint sector by focusing attention on new start ups and bringing about a developed State.
Attributing the cause of the turbulent state of Manipur society to economic instability, she opined that lack of income streams leads to disturbance in the household and better economic conditions improve the overall economy of the community.
She further encouraged the youth to not be deterred by failures and stated that many well-known companies achieved their success after going through long periods of trials and tribulations.
The conclave also witnessed many notable personalities in the panel of speakers including Dr Th Dhabali, chairman and managing director, Babina Group of Companies; Dr Kh Palin, managing director, SHRI; N Irabanta, chairman, UNACCO; L Niranjan, director, JCRE Skill Solution; Khangembam Ranjita, director, HER Soft Skills Training Institute and MD H Anil, founder, SYNAPX.
