DC meets DLOs, discuss several issues

Kangpokpi, January 13 2023:
DC Kangpokpi Kengoo Zuringla on Friday chaired the first District Level Officers (DLOs) meeting of the year and discussed various issues pertaining to the district at the conference hall of the DC Office Complex.
Matters related with upcoming Republic Day celebration, duties assigned to various departments, visit of the chief secretary to the district, review on status report of government offices and its premises within the district, convergence programmes, revision of performance on district Hill Leaders' Day & Meeyamgi Numit, and 13 flagship programmes among others were discussed during the meeting.
Speaking about the convergence programmes, the DC emphasised on the need for proper coordination among the departments on similar developmental programmes.
Stating that the government is focusing on inclusive development, she said that departments must keep each other on the loop to avoid repetition of beneficiaries and same programme in same area.
She called upon SDOs and department officials to work together for development of the district.
Regarding the District Hill Leaders' Day & Meeyamgi Numit, Zuringla said that the programme will be conducted at different locations of the district to make it more inclusive and efficient.
Stating that the district administration will continue to make the programme beneficial for all, she appealed to the public as well as the department officials to continue to participate in the programme wholeheartedly.
The DC also reviewed progress of flagship programmes with the department heads and took note of the various challenges faced by them.
